Progress in Krucia is not tracked by a single number. It is measured through multiple systems that show your growth as a captain. Gold is one measure, but progress also comes from the growth of your crew, the upgrades to your ship, and how the world recognizes your actions.
The central objective is to deliver 10,000 gold to Asteros. Doing so secures a soft ending where your story is written into the stars. This marks a major milestone but is not full completion of the game.
Captain Levels: Earn experience points from battles, quests, and exploration. Leveling up grants perks that change your playstyle. You can focus on strategy, combat strength, or sailing skill.
Crew Levels: Crew members also gain experience. Their stats increase and their gifts become stronger, improving their performance in combat and at sea.
Ship Upgrades: Your ship can be improved with modular upgrades. Cannons, sails, and reinforcements provide advantages in different situations, allowing your vessel to adapt to new challenges.
Factions: Your reputation with factions changes based on your choices. Gaining favor unlocks quests, ports, and support. Betrayal can create rivalries and block opportunities.
Exploration: Maps expand as you explore seas and islands. Ports, landmarks, and hazards are recorded, showing the depth of your knowledge of Krucia.
Cosmetics: Cosmetic progress is unlocked through gameplay. Customizations for your ship, captain, and crew show your journey visually, separate from statistics.
Stars in the Sky: After reaching 10,000 gold, full completion involves filling the sky with stars. Stars are earned through milestones, achievements, and hidden challenges. Collecting them all requires multiple playthroughs.
Completionist Content: The game is designed with a deep end game. Players can pursue all achievements, cosmetics, and optional goals. This includes challenges tied to quests, battles, and exploration, rewarding those who want to master every corner of the world.
